Things to Do in Saratoga Springs

Day or night, rain or shine, all year long, there’s always something to do in Saratoga Springs. We highly recommend you take a day to explore this vibrant city just a few miles south of Lake George.

Arts & Entertainment

From mid-July through Labor Day, watch live horse racing at Saratoga Race Course, or try your luck at the year-round Saratoga Casino. Take in a concert or performance at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center amphitheater, the summer home of the New York City Ballet and Live Nation concert venue. For a rainy-day excursion, tour the Saratoga Automobile Museum and the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, or visit The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College.

Health & Beauty

Saratoga’s rich mineral springs and baths have a history of health and healing properties that date back centuries. Enjoy a soak in an effervescent mineral bath at the Roosevelt Baths and Spas in the Spa State Park, or make an appointment for pampering at Complexions Spa for Beauty & Wellness, Spa Cascada, or The Saratoga Day Spa, all located on Broadway in Saratoga Springs.

Shopping & Dining

Browse the many eclectic shops and boutiques along Broadway, and find restaurants for every budget and taste while exploring Saratoga’s vibrant downtown. Head over to Wilton Mall and its neighboring shopping centers for national retailers and restaurant chains.

Saratoga is also home to many farms and farmer markets. Spa City Farmers’ Market is held year-round on Sundays in the Saratoga Spa State Park and Saratoga Farmers Market is open May-October on Wednesdays and Saturdays in High Rock Park.

Golf & Recreation

You’ll find several world-class golf courses in Saratoga, including Saratoga National Golf Club and Saratoga Spa Golf Course, as well as a network of nature trails and parks, like those at the Ballston Creek Preserve or Bog Meadow Trail.
