The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regatta is a small boat festival held annually on the shores of Lake George in Rogers Memorial Park. The event is hosted by the Bolton Historical Museum, and features dozens of small wood period boats powered by oar, paddle and sail.

The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regatta is a one-day event celebrating human-powered historical boats, including Whitehall rowboats, wood canvas canes, skiffs and small sailing boats. Some of the featured vessels are made by famous boat builders, others by anonymous craftsmen. Activities include demonstrations, races and exhibitions.
When is the No-Octane Regatta?
The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regatta is held annually at the end of summer, when the lake is quieter. It’s typically scheduled for the last Saturday in September, and runs all day, from 9:00 or 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Where is the Event Held?
The No-Octane Regatta is held in Rogers Memorial Park on the shores of Lake George. Located directly on Route 9N/Lakeshore Drive in the heart of Bolton Landing, Rogers Memorial Park has a public beach and docks, restrooms, picnic tables and grills, tennis courts, basketball courts and a playground. Parking is limited, but additional street parking is available for free throughout Bolton Landing.
Is the No-Octane Regatta Free?
Yes! The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regatta is free to participate in and free to attend, however, donations are appreciated. If you’re planning to bring a boat, the Bolton Historical Museum just requests that you register in advance. Simply submit your contact information and the type and year of the boat that you’ll be bringing.
