Bolton Landing
Hike to the summit of Cat or Thomas Mountains in Bolton Landing for stunning views of the Lake George Narrows, Buck Mountain and Dome Island engulfed in the colors of fall. The Cat Mountain Red Trail takes an average of 2 hours and 20 minutes, while Thomas Mountain averages about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Both hikes are considered moderately challenging.
Hague
Take a scenic drive up 9N from Lake George Village into Bolton Landing and over the Tongue Mountain range for some spectacular fall foliage.
